As noted in these pages, the underlying principle and reason
for being of the IO Silver Games is to raise money to fight heart disease,
the disease that kills one out of every two Americans, both men and
women. Many people work and play hard to help raise these funds, all
of which go to the support of the IO Silver Cardiac Specialties Clinic of Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. There are no paid support staff
members of our foundation. All of the money goes to our cause.

The
IO Silver Foundation has been teamed with the IO Silver Cardiac
Specialties Clinic for over three years. Since this partnership was
formed over $200,000 has been donated to fighting Cardiovascular Disease
in South Central Pennsylvania. Through the hard work and dedication
of the staff of the Foundation, those who labor to meet the challenges of
our Mission, and the participation of the public in our various events we
are making a difference in treating the effects of cardiovascular disease
in our community.
